About Ken and Christine


KEN JONES

Ken Jones earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting/Directing from the University of Florida, a Master of Fine Arts degree in Playwriting from the University of Virginia and continued on to graduate in Playwriting from Harvard University and the Institute for Advanced Theatre Training.

 

Jones has had 27 produced plays with 10 published, 9 musicals, 4 CD’s of original soundtrack scores and listings in several anthologies and monologue books.  Jones began his playwriting career with multiple Off -Broadway productions. His works have been recognized by TIME Magazine’s Critic Choice, Best Plays of the 1980’s, and the Post-Corbett award for Best Literary Artist.  He has had over 500 productions of his plays worldwide.

 

Jones was a member of the prestigious Warner Bros. Television Writer’s Workshop and went on to serve as the Head of Development for Light Point Entertainment at Disney/MGM Studios for the development and creation of content for animation, television and film covering multiple networks and streaming platforms.

 

Jones company, Table for Five Productions, created and produced the award-winning film, DIVINE WILL (available on PureFlix and Up: Faith and Family) and co-wrote the screenplay for the feature, RELENTLESS now in pre-production. His screenplay, BEYOND THE MOON, just took the Grand Prize at the Faith In Film International Film Festival and Screenwriting Competition. BEYOND THE MOON has also received Outstanding Screenplay from the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival and Best Screenplay from the Olympus Film Festival- Los Angeles.

 

He has received three Telly Awards,  three Communicator Awards, a Delauney Playwriting Award, the Prima Facie Playwriting Award,  the Kentucky Playwright’s Award, the Trailblazer Educator’s Award, seven Acclaim Awards, eight International awards for screenwriting and filmmaking, and two Emmy nominations.

 

Ken Jones is an active member of the Dramatist Guild of America, the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and a member of National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.


CHRISTINE JONES 

 

Jones works professionally as an actor and lyricist.  Feature Film roles include: WHO IS AMOS OTIS?HEALING RIVER, CAROL, PROMISES TO KEEP, DIVINE DECISION: DOUBLE DOWN, NOTZILLA, TRIANGLES AND TRIBULATIONS, GEORGE: A CHRISTMAS FABLE and, most recently, WHO IS AMOS OTIS? She’s also acted in the following short films: LOW LIFEONCE THE GROUND THAWS, FROM GETTYSBURG TO BAGHDAD, THE PRODIGAL and PAULY. 

 

Originally a stage actor Jones has performed across the country in musicals and plays.  While working at Lightpoint Entertainment at Disney Studios, she voiced many characters for animated television series and interactive video games.

 

With her company Table for Five Productions, Christine created and produced the award-winning film, DIVINE WILL(available on Amazon's UP: FAITH AND FAMILY) and co-wrote the screenplay for the feature film, RELENTLESS

 

Christine’s collaborations as a lyricist can be heard in the following produced and published shows: CHURCH GIRLS, BURGERTOWN, LINCOLN: A PIONEER TALE, THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS, SNOW WHITE AND THE DANCING DWARFS, and SLEEPING BEAUTY: RISE AND SHINE (a modern take on the classic fairytale with a steam punk spin.)

 

Christine has won the following awards: 3 Telly Awards, 3 Communicator Awards, 2 Accolades Global Awards, Hollywood International Moving Best Pictures Award, 4 Global Independent Film Awards, Olympus Film Festival Best Film Award and Acclaim Awards for Best Original Play.

After earning a BFA in Acting from Florida State University, she then continued her education at the University of Virginia, receiving her Masters of Fine Arts in Drama. She is a member of  SAG/AFTRA and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Dramatist Guild of America.
